Consider an indirect flight via another U.S. City with an American
carrier. Fares are often cheaper, availability can be better and
some airlines allow a free stopover. Indirect services may be the
most convenient: American Airlines and Continental fly from Regional
UK Airports to the U.S. and have connections to airports in Florida.
Charter Flights
There are year round charter flights from Gatwick, Manchester,
Birmingham, Cardiff and Newcastle, and summer flights from East
Midlands, Prestwick and Teesside to the Orlando area. Look out for
those that stop off at Maine for refueling as it adds an extra hour
to the flight!
Most charters fly to Sanford and Orlando International and Ashley
